Our Vacancies

At any given time, we have different vacancies depending on the needs within the team. Our current vacancies are listed below, with information about how to apply and deadlines. You can send a speculative application if there is a particular area that you would like to support with.

  • Commitment– We are a big team with a tiny financial resource. Recruitment and training of new people takes time, so if you are thinking of applying, please first consider if you can commit to volunteering for at least six months.
  • Adaptable– As a volunteer you might be expected to do things you’ve never heard of, which don’t strictly fall into your job description. We understand that can be daunting. You will be expected to research and work independently to find solutions, with the support of your manager and the wider team.
  • IT Skills– Whatever your role, you will be expected to use a range of IT systems, like Google Suite, WordPress and Trello. Even if you’re not familiar with them, you need to be willing to try out new things and to learn different applications to fit in with the systems we use at Womenclimb.
  • Ambiguity– Sometimes no-one has an answer and you will need to make a decision that could end up being wrong. We all make mistakes at times and understand that this helps us grow and develop. Whilst you might not be comfortable making mistakes, we want you to be willing to push yourself and try new things.
  • Motivation– You won’t have someone on your back to get things done, so you will need to be self-motivated will help you to get the most out of being a Womenclimb volunteer.
