Courses – FAQs

Are these women-only courses?

Our workshops and courses are aimed at women. Occasionally we may have men sign up, but so far this hasn’t happened and all of our courses and workshops have been women-only. If you want to ensure that the course you book onto is women-only, drop us an email and we will do our best for you.

Is there an instructor on the workshop or course?

Our courses and workshops are all led by experienced, qualified and insured instructors & coaches.

I’ve just started climbing, is the course for me.

Each workshop listing will tell you if there are specific course requirements. Our courses and workshops are designed to focus on the individual. If there is no minimum requirement indicated, it means that it doesn’t matter if you climb 4a, VDiff, HVS or F6c. We will tailor the course to the individual levels and help you to work on the areas that are relevant to you. We may give each participant different activities to undertake, but you will always be included and valued in our workshops and courses.

I’m worried about attending a workshop, what should I do?

It’s normal to feel worried, excited and many other emotions before attending a workshop or course. You can contact use before you book or even if you’ve already booked. Emily, our founder, will help you to chat through things and give you more information. Ultimately we want you to be as happy as you can be, so we will do everything we can to support you. If there is something specific you think would help you to access any part of our meets, workshops or website, let us know and we will do our best.

I’ve still got questions, who can I speak to?

Emily Pitts is our Founder and CEO. She knows all about the courses and can help you to make the right decision for you. Email her on: hello@womenclimb.co.uk.
