Family Climbing Adventure
Outdoor Climbing can be a brilliant adventure. Our Family Climbing Adventure is all about having fun in the outdoors with your whole family and going climbing in some of the most majestic countryside in the UK. Your adventure will take place in the Peak District over a whole day.
Your day will be tailored to you and your family, so whatever your needs and aspirations we will design the session to make sure you get the most out of it. Before your outdoor adventure begins, you will receive a comprehensive starter pack by email, so you know exactly what to expect and what to bring with you. For some people climbing outdoors can seem very intimidating, so this experience is designed to bring the fun to your family day. We work hard to make it a relaxed and enjoyable one that meets your expectations.
On the day
Your adventure will start at 10am, when you will meet your instructor. The day begins with a treasure hunt/ quiz that the whole family (or just the kids) can take part in throughout the day.
You will walk up with your instructor to the climbing area and get started, with your instructor providing safety information in a fun way for the whole family. Under the expert tuition of your instructor you will each get a chance to climb routes of varying degrees of difficulty throughout the day, interspersed with other activities that you’re interested in.

At 4pm you will finish off your climbs, pack your bags and be back at your car by 5pm. During the day you will stop for lunch, but you are encouraged to eat and drink to stay hydrated throughout the adventure. Mid afternoon your instructor will invite you to join her in enjoying some hand-made treats to replenish your body from all your hard work!
All of this with a qualified instructor who has 15 years of experience in supporting and helping people to achieve their goals. You deserve to have an amazing family day that you will remember forever. And if you want a beautiful record of the experience we can arrange a specialist climbing/ portrait photographer to join the session for the day.

When can we do our session?
Sessions can be scheduled on any day of the week except for Mondays and Tuesdays during term time. We are flexible to meet your needs.
