Outline of Courses & Workshops

Getting Started - Outdoor Climbing

These courses are for anyone who has never climbed or who hasn’t climbed outdoors. It introduces you to real rock and the safety considerations for climbing outdoors. You will also learn the skills you need to tie in and belay safely. Our aim is to provide you with the skills you need to climb independently at an indoor climbing wall. Many participants on these courses go on to join Womenclimb meetups and learn on a peer-to-peer basis.

Climb with Confidence - One Day

This one day workshop takes you through the fundamentals of confidence, giving you practical tools, techniques and skills to help you flourish, including self-analysis methods. It gives you foundational theory with opportunities to practice the application of what you have learnt in a way that matches your individual needs using a Watch, Question, Practice, Learn process.

Climb with Confidence Programme - Extended

In your quest to be a more confident rock climber, our Climb with Confidence – Extended Programme gives you even more of the tools used sports psychologists and the trusted techniques used by climbers.

The programme involves two intensive one-day workshops with Facebook coaching and support at weekly intervals between the workshops. These sessions focus on reflection and individual development, to enable you to identify the techniques that will make most difference to your climbing.

In the workshops you will be part of a group of climbers who want a non-judgmental, proactive, focussed programme to help find out and implement what works for each person. By the end of the programme you will have practical techniques that you can continue to use to drive your confidence and your climbing to the next level.

Coaching

We use the very best coaches in the industry to deliver our tailored and high-quality coaching sessions. This means that you get undivided attention to meet your needs and help you to make the progress that you want. Coaching is available during our meetups, giving you the opportunity to be a part of the meetup whilst gaining the focussed input you are looking for. Workshops include:

1:2 Masterclass Coaching – 1/2 day (3 hours)

1:2 Masterclass Coaching – Full day (6 hours)

1:4 Group Coaching: Head Game – Full day (6 hours)

1:4 Group Coaching: Technical Climbing Skills – Full day (6 hours)
