Evening with the Experts: Setting up a group abseil

26 May @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm BST

Workshop outline

Sam Leary from Leading Edge will share her knowledge and expertise exclusively with Womenclimb Members.

This week’s session focus is advanced techniques for setting up group abseils, so is not designed for novice outdoor climbers, although of course you can still attend and listen in if you are a novice. If you want to brush up your skills and techniques, this is for you.¬†It is a practical session so dust off your harness and gear, and set yourself up some home anchors (more in our Youtube video here).

This week’s session is open to Womenclimb Members.

This exclusive Womenclimb workshop will run on Zoom each Tuesday starting at 6pm. You will receive your invite to the session on a Sunday evening with everything you need to join on Zoom. If you think you haven’t received your email, please check your spam/junk folder.

You can join this session whatever your level and experience of climbing, however this week’s session is focussed on more experienced climbers who may wish to set up an abseil for a group of people.

As with all Womenclimb events and workshops, you are responsible for your health, safety and taking responsibility for your participation. These sessions are NOT a substitute for face to face workshops and tuition. You will not be equipped to lead climb outdoors from these sessions, but they will give you expert underpinning knowledge from one of the best instructors we know.

How to Join

Who is the host / instructor?
