We are SO ready for this. Are you?
A weekend of confidence-building climbing in spectacular North Wales.
Meet: 10am
Where we will climb: We will decide closer to the meetup, and split groups according to:
a) social distancing guidelines at the time of the meetup
b) the number of people in the group
c) the experience and skills of group members
d) what people fancy doing
Afterwards: Often we go for a meal, but this time round, bring your camp stove and food and we will find a spot to eat together.
We recommend that you arrive early to ensure you join us for our safety briefing and intro and so that we can make our way as a group to our chosen crag. If you have questions, please ask in advance, and if you’re running late, text well before the start time of the meetup.
Tickets for this Meetup are free for Womenclimb members who can tie in, belay and remove climbing gear. If you’re new to outdoor climbing, you are advised to join one of our courses, running this weekend.
Please only order tickets for meetups you 100% intend to attend. If you do need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days in advance, to give others the opportunity to take your place. If you order a ticket and don’t turn up for the session, you are taking a ticket from someone else who would love the ticket.
This is a peer-to-peer meetup, where you will meet others to climb with. We will place you into a group in advance, according to government guidelines. In your pre-climb form (COVID-19 required), you can specify any other people who you wish to climb or not climb with.
We know our members well, especially those who have attended multiple meetups. We will always do our best to place you in a group where you will be able to get what you want from the meetup. We hope that by August our meetups will open up more. Until then, it’s pre-arranged groups. What we can tell you is that you will get:
A friendly, welcoming environment
A supportive group of people to climb with
