Well, a group of ten of us joined forces last weekend to clean up Hobson Moor Quarry, situated at the end of the M67 at the Western Edge of the Peaks. Womenclimb along with Karabiner Mountaineering Club members worked solidly for around 4 hours to get the crag looking spick and span.
There was a mountain of glass at the crag along with a wheelbarrow, cans, plastic bags, 2 bar stools, several rusty metal rods and all the usual litter suspects. It looks and feels so much better after the clean up. Thank you to everyone who came along and donated their time to a good cause.
Let us know what you think of the clean up next time you’re down at Hobson Moor!
