The precise nature of the shoe and the fit around the toes.

A slightly better fit around the heel and not so expensive! Otherwise they are pretty perfect.

Value for Money
I paid about £40 for my La Sportive Miura rock shoes on ebay, which was a bargain! They are between £90 – £110 online which is quite expensive. However they are a very well made, durable and technical shoe – in my opinion worth the higher price.
The shoe is very rigid and downturned. The three Velcro straps along with the neoprene inner hold your foot snug in the shoe. The shoe is wide at the bunion area and narrow over the arch of the foot so it fits my foot shape really well!
Comfort & Fit
These climbing shoes are designed to be fitted tight. Ideally you want your toes curled up at the end so they fit all the space in the toe box. I wouldn’t wear them for a long period of time, however they fit my foot very well and there are no pressure points while I’m wearing them. Mine have loosened slightly after around a year of use, but not massively.
My Sportiva Miura’s are very durable. The edges are still intact after a year of moderate use. I’ve started using them a bit more regularly now and they have survived many trips to indoor climbing walls with no sign of wear.
Really good for pockety, technical climbing on small footholds. The heel fits very snugly and I have found them great for heel hooking.
