If you need help while on the course, you can contact Emily, Course Leader, who will respond to your query on email: hello@womenclimb.co.uk.  Please use the subject ‘Climbing Confidence Query’.  We aim to respond to all email queries within 72 hours. If your query is urgent, please use the subject title: ‘URGENT Climbing Confidence Query’ so we know you’ve got a problem that needs attention more quickly. In this instance, we aim to respond within 24 hours.

Support and help outside the course

Some of the exercises on the programme may be mentally challenging. We hope that these will be productive for you, to help you move towards positive results for your climbing confidence.  We are here to support you as far as we can on your journey.

We aren’t registered psychological practitioners, and although we have many years of experience of dealing with individuals in a range of scenarios, there may be times where we feel that we are not qualified or experienced to provide the advice or support that you need. In this instance, we are providing you with a list of organisations where you can find information and support on a range of issues:

Confidentiality

Our correspondences and discussions are confidential.  The only instance where confidentiality could be broken is if we feel that you are at risk or might hurt yourself or someone else. We know this is unlikely, but making this clear is important, so that you understand the boundaries of our confidentiality policy. We ask that students on the course are respectful of others’ right to privacy and confidentiality, however this is not something that we can promise, as we can only control what we do as course leaders.
