Women Rock Event: the small print
The Women Rock series of Events being run by individual climbing businesses is about bringing women together on one weekend to celebrate being a women and to celebrate International Women’s Day. Womenclimb have asked walls to organise their own programme of events and therefore accept no liability for any loss, however caused, during the series of events being organised by external climbing organisations. Each organisation carries its own public liability insurance and it is the responsibility of each individual to check the rules, insurances and events to satisfy themselves of the safety of that event. In the event of an accident or incident Womenclimb will assume no responsibility for this, as the contract you undertake is between yourself and the climbing organisation with whom you are climbing.
Participants assume all of the risks of participating in this event and are fully responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this events and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person. Participants assume the responsibility for reporting any previous medical history, which may affect their participation in the planned activity.
Climbing is a sports that carries risks. By taking part you thereby agree to the following:
I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my traveling to and from this event, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Womenclimb, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event.
